# How does credit rollover work?

Unused credits **roll over while you're subscribed** - there's no cap. Your balance accumulates as long as your subscription is active.

||| ⚠️ Important: If you cancel your subscription, all unused credits will expire at the end of your current billing cycle.

# Example

If you have a **1,000 credits/month plan** and use only 600 credits this month, the remaining 400 roll over. Next month you'll have **1,400 credits** (400 rolled over + 1,000 new).
The same applies to yearly plans at each annual renewal: any unused credits at the end of the year carry over and add to your next year's grant.
There is no upper cap on accumulated credits while you're subscribed.

# What happens if I downgrade?

Your unused credits **stay in your balance** - downgrading does not reduce them.

**Example:**
If you have 1,500 credits and you downgrade from **1,000 credits/month** to **400 credits/month**, you keep all 1,500 credits. Your new plan adds 400 fresh credits each cycle going forward.

# What happens if I upgrade?

Your unused credits stay in your balance, and you receive new credits from your new plan immediately.

**Example:**
If you upgrade from **400 credits/month** to **1,000 credits/month** with 200 credits already in your balance, your balance becomes 1,200 credits. You'll continue to receive 1,000 fresh credits each cycle.

# What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel your subscription, **all unused credits will expire at the end of your current billing cycle**.
